Playing nickname: Pimp Daddy

Years playing: 16

First paintball experience: Not sure on the exact date, my first time was behind a nursery in some mountain terrain in Perris California. Haven’t stopped since.

Previous team(s) and division (s): Well obviously I started out late in paintball. After my first experience behind the nursery I started looking for a local paintball field which was Mr. paintball in Escondido California. I played there for a few years, mostly recreational. I made some great friends and awesome times.

Behind Mr. Paintball there was Raza Park and that is where I played my first three man Tournament with my first team Native Rice and Beans, when we took first place. That was also when I got addicted to tournament style paintball. From there on we went ahead and formed a team called Forced Entry for one year and then we played with the Pirates for one year and moved on. The last team I played for was the Golden State knights which Nikki, Matt, Rosie and myself started. It was mostly a kids team. We got as high as division two. This ties into my proudest moment in paintball.

It was awesome to see how talented these kids were. They would destroy teams that they were supposed to lose to. Over the life of the Golden State Knights there was about 25 of us that came and went. I remember and miss every single one of them and their families. It is awesome from time to time to meet up with some of them at a random tournament or out for dinner. Our goal was not to make great paintball players, our goal was to make great people. They just became great paintball players in the process of becoming great people. Now for my second proudest moment in paintball is when Brandon Cornell went pro. He was one of our kids and when he became a member of the Ironmen and so did we.

Current Ironmen Pro Position: Team manager

What does playing on Team Ironmen mean to you? I am honored and grateful to be an Ironmen. It has so much history, so many iconic players that have worn the Ironmen shield. We are the next man up and it’s only up to us what we do with it.
